9th January 2008- Eagle Crag and Sergeants Crag
The first venture over to the Lake District in 2008. Even though the weather forecast was for a dry day, the wind was predicted to be strong so I chose to take on these two lower fells, a good choice as it happens. Quite a bit of cloud cover meant that the day was not very bright but a few breaks in the clouds made of some dramatic skies. A day where I saw no other person on the hills.
