7th November 2011 Hindscarth and Robinson.

The forecast looked promising for today following on from what was a super weekend. I rose early to see if there was a chance of catching the early light. I intended to park up at Buttermere for the walk but headed along the road towads gatesgarth first to check out the scene.

As we head to the lakeshore path the early light strikes Mellbreak.

Grasmoor

Once above the steep section the route eases. AW's route suggests crossing here but I carried on straight up over the wet but not too boggy ground.

Behind us Pillar now puts in an appearance to the left.

It was only early aftenoon so we headed off to do another short walk. Photos to follow shortly.
