7th November 2011 Knott Rigg and Ard Crags.

 Following our early morning walk we decided to head up to Newlands hause from Buttermere and then take in this pair of fells in the afternoon.

Knott Rigg

The footpath to Knott Rigg that starts at Newlands Hause. The signpost says "Ard Crags 1 1/5 miles" which is incorrect.

This is a delightful ridge route with exceptional views.

Hellvellyn range over Newlands. From Ard Crags it was a simple case of retracing our outward route which was directly into the sun.

Another nice short walk in ideal conditions all in all a sucessful day.
