14th November 2007- Armboth Fell to Bleaberry Fell.

A route that I had planned to take in some of the lower fells of the Central Lake District. The weather forecast didn't look particularly promising but as you can see from the photographs clear skies, no wind and good visibility made for an excellent day to visit these hills.

Towards Clough Head and High Rigg from near Thirlmere Dam.

Thirlmere and Blencathra from Fisher Crag

Blencathra from the summit* of Armboth Fell. *I would think that the mound with the walker is more likely to be the actual summit.

A nice day for the dogs on Armboth Fell.

On the way to High Tove looking back to Armboth Fell.

A herd of Red Deer on Long Moss

Catstycam showing to the left of Lower Man.

Zoe checking out Red Grouse droppings. I heard a couple but none were seen.
