22nd January 2010- Inverarnan near Ben Glas

A short visit to Scotland on a business trip means that we can have a weekend away and get in some short walks. It was a good opportunity to give the "new boy" Bailey a taste of things to come.

We parked here at the famous Drovers Inn. The falls that we were about to visit can be seen on the left.

 

Passing above Beinglas Farm and campsite.

 

Ben Glas falls.

 

Snow covered Troisgeach across the glen.

 

and Ben Lui to the north.

 

Late afternoon light over Ben Vorlich.

 

Now on a stalkers track with some sun ahead. On this route we descended onto the West Highland Way.

 

Now on the WHW we headed back towards Beinglas Farm and the Drovers Inn. Only a short walk but still a good leg-stretch after our drive north.
