26th October 2009

An early autumn morning walk to the top of the relatively low hill of Hallin Fell. I am able to do these short walks before I open the gallery at the nearby Rheged Centre.

Almost perfect reflections near Howtown.

Beda Fell from the slopes of Hallin Fell.

Martindale in sun on the left and Boardale on the right in shadow.

Clear views over to the Helvellyn range.

Zeta stares into the distance.

Autumn colours to Helvellyn.

Hallin Fell summit beacon.

Ullswater from the north cairn.

Sheep on the fell.

Still waters.
