14th April 2010. Fell End Clouds, Howgills

A possibly pleasant evening in store gave me the opportunity to head over to the Howgill Fells and do a short but interesting walk near Kirby Stephen visiting the limestone pavements known as the Fell End Clouds.

Fell End Clouds

The term "clouds" refers to the lines of limestone pavement.

The light was just about perfect to catch the stones.

Not a long evening walk but very interesting and made more enjoyable by the setting sun.
