yet another call-out for the Mountain Rescue Team. Two land-rovers and an
Air Ambulance en-route to and incident which was taking place in the
vicinity of Striding Edge. The helicopter flew low over us later in the
direction of Carlisle.

Our route followed the old mine aqueduct and chimney
that takes a direct route up towards raise.

Last fell of the evening, Glenridding Dodd summit in the
dusk. The time was 10.10pm, and time for a quick descent so that we could
grab a quick drink in The Traveller's Rest, Glenridding before we headed
home after an enjoyable and quiet time on the Eastern Fells.
