The Cop Stone on Moor Divock.

Early morning dog walker on the common.

Loadpot Hill in the distance. There had obviously been heavy overnight
rain.
From here I went to my meeting before then heading off to St. John's in
the Vale. |

I parked up at Wanthwaite and headed up the Old Coach
Road. It was a bright Spring afternoon at this time.

Cloud shadows on Blencathra.

Clough Head from the Old Coach Road.

Heavy snow shower to the north.

I followed the track east, here Wolf Crags lies ahead.

Zooming in on Great Mell Fell.

Looking back to a sunlit Calfhow Pike.

The ridges of Blencathra.

On reaching the ford at Groove Beck I the took a direct
route to the ridge that leads to Great Dodd via High Brow.

The Far Eastern Fells from the cairn on High Brow.

A glimpse of Ullswater.

Randerside.

The Helvellyn fells from an extremely windy Great Dodd
summit.

High Street hills from the same point. After this I took
the path south west to Watson's Dodd.

Watson's Dodd summit and the route to Great Dodd. I
re-traced my steps and was to take the path to Calfhow Pike that contours
above Mill Gill.

Helvellyn Lower Man.

Calfhow Pike and snow in front of Skiddaw.

The cairn on Calfhow Pike with Clough Head next.

Big skies over the north-western fells.

The light was now fading fast but I managed to get this
shot looking back to the Pike.

The last of the light reflects off Derwentwater and
Tewet tarn.

White Pike and the Mell Fells beyond as we head of the
hill at dusk. It was a long route and the light could have been better but
still a good afternoon out on the Eastern Fells.
