30th October 2011 Boardale Round

The plan was to do a clockwise circuit of the Boardale valley in the Far Eastern Fells. The weather was a bit mixed but still a good day out.

Place Fell. A couple of years ago Fix the Fells repaired the path up to Place Fell, at the time it looked like a nasty scar now, as you can see, it has blended in rather well.

"It wasn't us!"

A short stroll back to the car now after a good walk out onto these far easten fells. The weather could have been better but the patches of light made up for it.
