4th July 2008- Lartington..
A short walk near the quiet village of Lartington. Just a small hamlet in Teesdale which visitors usually pass through on the road to elsewhere, no pub, shop or tea-room to cause reason for a halt. Carefully tended gardens and cottages mostly hidden behind walls and hedges.

This charming cottage was a former Wesleyan Chapel. |
|
Lartington has a substantial hall which is mostly obscured from public gaze, this small cemetery nearby with its chapel probably has some connection.
