High Kern Knotts. 17/4/09 The impressive crag of High Kern Knotts is a great taster of things to come as you head west on the south traverse of Great Gable.
The water hole. 17/4/09 This small cave as AW indicated still has a source of trickling water.
Napes Needle. 17/4/09 Seen from the Dress Circle the Needle is an impressive pinnacle of rock in a dramatic location. I timed my visit here so that the sun was lighting the rock on this face.
Cat Rock. 17/4/09 When viewed from the south traverse this pinnacle bears a resemblance to a sitting cat, if you use a little imagination.
