The old cairn. 24/6/08 The old moss covered cairn has a small shelter adjacent. Note: I have realised that this reference is incorrect and will be soon replaced with a new sketch from the correct angle (see sketch below). if anyone would like to buy this small sketch then please contact me, it may be the only opportunity to purchase one of the Wainwright sketches separately.
The summit 24/6/08 Thresthwaite Mouth is the dip in the horizon to the north of the summit.
Slate Bridge.
Windermere and the Troutbeck Valley. 24/6/08 A fine viewpoint of the valley and the distant lake. Fell Complete.
