Lake District sketches- Andy Beck

"The Lake District sketches shown here are small watercolours that I complete as a middle stage in my painting process. From the basic field note sketches and location photographs I then produce these simple images which help to test the composition, lighting and shape of the final work." Using quite a flowing and quick technique these sketches are an appealing format.
