Andy Beck - On Location

Route details and photographs of areas where Andy has been walking, sketching and gathering references for future work.

15th May 2008

The route on the fifth day of a week in the North Western Fells of the Lake District. We based ourselves in Lorton in the campsite of The Wheatsheaf Inn, a convenient location to reach all 29 of these hills.

The Newlands Round, our version of a classic Lakeland circuit, a very early start meant that the light on the fells would give better photos early on. As usual we deviated from the normal route so that I could collect more references for my project.
