9th November 2008 . Crag Fell
and Grike..
Another dull and overcast day but with
at least a fairly high cloud base we were able to take in a couple of fells.
Parking at the western end of Ennerdale Water an hour or twos effort would get
us up and over Crag Fell and Grike.

From Crag Fell we followed AW's ridge route to Grike via
the old mine road which leads alongside the forest. The hillside wall on
the right would lead up towards Caw Fell.

The fairly uninteresting top of Grike. The left cairn is
the main one as illustrated by AW (Grike 5) but the other "baby" ones have
been incorporated into the new one on the right.

From the summit we headed down to the sheepfold to pick
up the path at the top of Ben Gill.
