Rural originals- Andy Beck

"From the Scottish highlands to the South coast in Dorset I get inspired to paint country scenes which depict the rural way of life in the British countryside. Chickens in quiet farmyards through to flocks of sheep on the fells could be painted anywhere on my travels but they have a countrywide appeal". Andy enjoys capturing these images as he sees them, "I prefer to paint the countryside as its seen today despite the fact that the old ways of farming have a charm which lends itself to this type of work".

Please note: More recent Rural original paintings will soon be available to view in the exhibition catalogue which will be online shortly.

Whist producing new work some of the illustrated paintings have recently sold and are here to give a flavour of Andy's style. Click on the images or titles to access more information.
