Teesdale supports a wide variety of species of mammals, birds and plants some of which are extremely rare such as the Black Grouse and Spring Gentian. Andy is able to draw on this wealth of local subject matter to produce many of his paintings. "Teesdale being my home ground is where I get inspired for the majority of my work. However, as you will see here, the wildlife of other areas such as the Red Deer in Scotland are still featured."
